Chairman emphasised that the
credit for this growth went to all the office bearers and the committee
members who took their appointments seriously and promoted the society to
the public in all their dealings.
The Treasurer's report followed
and he painted a happy position that the Final accounts were in. Expenditure
was frugal and a number of budgeted costs were not spent because of the
committee's overall strategy to remain stringent.
A copy of the program (Agenda) of
the day is attached including the nominated candidates for the new term
1997/1998.
In the Election of the Section
officers for the new term all the nominated candidates were returned
unopposed. Thus no lengthy deliberation was involved to the contentment of
the general audience.
